Kris Bernal's daughter, Hailee Lucca, has just celebrated her first birthday! The proud mother shared a heartwarming Instagram Reel featuring her special moments with her little girl, accompanied by a touching birthday message.

In her post, Kris expressed her joy and gratitude, saying, "And, just like that, my baby is ONE! Happy 1st Birthday, my #LittleSunshine, Hailee Lucca," and tagged her daughter. She continued, "I never knew my heart had such capacity 'til the moment you were born! Thank you for making me a 'mama.'" Kris affectionately described her daughter as her "heart," "soul," and the "source of her laughs and tears," emphasizing that Hailee is the "best thing" that has happened to her. Kris shared that her daughter has taught her patience and the power of having a "best friend" in her own life. She expressed her love by saying, "All the hugs and kisses in the world will never be enough to show how much I love you."

Hailee is Kris's first child with her husband, Perry Choi, whom she married in 2021. They announced their pregnancy in March 2023 and revealed that they would be having a baby girl in April. They introduced their daughter to the public in August of the previous year, and she was born in June.

Kris has been open about the challenges of motherhood. In a Fast Talk episode earlier this year, she shared her experiences, saying, "Nahirapan talaga ako mag-adjust pero so far it's getting better." However, she clarified that this doesn't mean she's not grateful for the journey. She stated, "This doesn't mean I'm not grateful, na hindi ko gusto 'tong journey ko. Ito ang pinakamagandang nangyari sa buhay ko."

On Instagram, Kris expressed that motherhood is her "best thing."
